With over 20 years experience in the audiovisual field in Uruguay and South-America, Elena Roux has developed her skills through the production of commercials, documentaries and feature films. She was Production Manager of several of the best known international award-winning Uruguayan films, like: En la puta vida and Corazón de Fuego among others.

As an independent Producer she produced the multi-award winning feature film El baño del Papa, directed by Fernández and Charlone (San Sebastián-Latin Horizon; Huelva-Best script; Cartagena Murcia-best film, best script; Gramado-best actor, best actress, best screenplay, technical excellence Jury award and Audience award; San Pablo-best film; Cero Latitud (Quito)-best film; San Luis-best actor; Habana-Glouber Rocha; Lleida-best opera prima, TVE award; Guadalajara-best opera prima; Luis Buñuel Award FIPCA and EGEDA, among others).

In 2004 co-produces the French/Uruguayan film Orlando Vargas directed by Pittaluga (Cannes 2005, Miami and Mar del Plata 2006). Through her own production company laroux cine she has produced different fiction and documentary projects.

She taught at both Universidad Católica, in the production area, for 9 years and Escuela de Bellas Artes. She was president of ASOPROD (Uruguayan Producers and Video/Filmmakers Association). In 2006 she was appointed Director of TV Ciudad, Montevideo’s municipal television.

As freelancer she has worked as advertising production manager for Uruguayan directors Pablo Dotta, Leonardo Ricagni, Diego Arsuaga, Cali Ameglio, Casacubeta, Guillermo Casanova, Cacho Bagnasco, Fernando Vallejo, among others.

In 1998 Marianela Longers graduated from UCUDAL (Social Communication). That same year she began working freelance in production for production companies: Salado Media and Taxi Films. In 2001 she takoook her first steps working in feature films with En La puta vida, directed by Beatriz Flores Silva. After that first experience she worked on several other films like: Corazón de Fuego, by Diego Arzuaga, Orlando Vargas by Enrique Fernández and César Charlone.

During that time she also worked with Trip film, in production services offered abroad. From 2002 to 2004 she worked for channel TVeo National Television in the conceptualization and production of La Noche (The Night), a cultural news magazine, and Buscando a Mariana (Looking for Mariana).

She has worked in the making of documentaries for the Kellogg Foundation celebrating its 75th anniversary (Rio de Janeiro) and for the Uruguayan Volunteers Center, for its program Aprendiendo Juntos (Learning Together).

During the past 4 years she has worked for many production companies and advertising agencies abroad (Venezuela) for brands like: Colgate Palmolive, Toyota, Ford, Pepsi, Laboratories Leti and Pfizer, BBVA, Banco Plaza, BOD, Johnson, Maestro y Nivea.

Liliana Lopez graduated from Communication Sciences School at UDELAR (Universidad de la Repùblica) and holds a Technical Degree in Social Communications from UTU (Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay). She complemented her education by studying Public Relations, Marketing, and Human Resources. As a student she began getting involved in the media, working in production for television for Channels 5 and 10, as well as producing events locally. Later she started working in production for audiovisual commercials serving as Producer, Production Coordinator and Executive Producer.

It is the experience gained over these years, plus the enjoyment of the production process what leads her today to hold a position as Executive Producer.
