La Roux is an audio-visual production company set up in 2004.

Elena Roux is the visionary and founder of this project. With over 20 years experience in the audio-visual field in Uruguay and South America she has developed her career in the production area through the production of commercials, documentaries, and fiction feature film. She was production manager for several of the best known award-winning national films: En la puta vida, directed by Beatriz Flores Silva, Corazón de fuego, directed by Diego Arzuaga, and Orlando Vargas, directed by Juan Pittaluga, among others.

She began her work as Producer with the multi-award winning film El Baño del Papa, -directed by Enrique Fernandez and César Charlone. The film was the starting point for La Roux Cine, and it has been exhibited in 25 countries.

La Roux is composed of a talented multidisciplinary team with experience in all audiovisual genres: feature films, documentaries, institutional and corporative videos, video clips, viral videos, internet videos, TV material, advertising and cultural project.

We approach every project in an all-round manner, dealing with all aspects of its process, from its initial concept through to post-production. We are conscious of the great responsibility implied in undertaking an audio-visual product development designed for the communication of a company or institution.
